March 22, 2014 – Another great evening for the March 25th Greek Independence celebration  (sponsored by Seattle AHEPA) was held on March 22, 2014 at St. Demetrios.  This year as was the case last year was a successful event, filling capacity in attendance and exceeding expectations.  Making it two years in a row for this revived tradition.


March 6, 2014 – The "En Chordais" ensamble performance at Benaroya Hall, Thursday, March 6, 2014 sponsored by the Seattle AHEPA Chapter, had a audience of more than 400 plus attendees with warm reviews and making the event a great success.  Thank you for everyone who attended the event including the local Greek community!

It is with sadness that I share with you the news of the passing of Nikolaos Flemetakis who peacefully fell asleep in the Lord, this past Saturday, after a long illness.


Funeral services for Nikolaos are scheduled as follows:


The Trisagion service will be celebrated on Wednesday evening, October 22nd at 7:00 p.m. at Bonney Watson.


Funeral services will be celebrated on Thursday, October 23rd, with the funeral beginning at noon, followed by a mercy meal followed by his interment at Evergreen-Washelli.


Our prayers are with the Flemetakis and Apostolou families as we walk with you, together, throughout this journey of mourning.


May his memory be eternal!
