January 26, 2016 – Chapter members travel to Portland, OR to see a Trailblazers vs. Kings basketball game.  Chapter members get to meet  Sacramento King Greek player Kostas Koufos after the game.

March 19, 2016 – AHEPA Greek Night in Portland, OR. It was hosted by District #22 and Seattle AHEPA. The event was held at a downtown Greek restaurant/ taverna. A fun party filled to capacity with a guest live DJ from Seattle.

March 25, 2016 –  March 25th Greek Glendi celebration.  The Seattle event was hosted by Seattle AHEPA and was held on Friday, the March 25th at a downtown formal lounge venue with a guest live DJ from Chicago.  It was a great time exceeding expectations. Attendees at the event included guests from throughout the Puget Sound and guests from Portland and Vancouver, B.C.

May 6, 2016 – The Greek ensemble performance titled "A Sea Filled With Music" was held at Benaroya Hall on Friday, May 6, 2016 and was sponsored by Seattle AHEPA and local businesses.  The concert had a great attendance and warm reviews.  Thank you to all the guests who attended this event.

June 5-7, 2015 – Seattle Chapter #177 hosted this
year's District #22 convention which received many praises from its guests who attended the three day event.

June 6, 2015 – Basile the comedian performed at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox church large hall on Saturday, June 6, 2015. The event was sponsored by the Seattle AHEPA Chapter and was a sold out performance at full capacity in attendance.  Attendees gave warm reviews making the event a great success.  Thank you for everyone who attended the event including the local Greek community! 

August 16, 2015 – AHEPA Welcomes U.S. Rep. Larsen to Hellenic Caucus.

AHEPA welcomes U.S. Rep. Rick Larsen (D-WA) as the newest member to the Congressional Caucus on Hellenic Issues, announced Supreme President John W. Galanis. "We thank Congressman Larsen for joining the Hellenic Caucus," Galanis said. "We look forward to working with him and his staff on issues of importance to the American Hellenic community."
Membership in the Hellenic Caucus now stands at 122.

ICYMI: Nearly $115,000 in donations to the campaign to help rebuild Saint Nicholas National Shrine at World Trade Center were announced by AHEPA family entities at the 93rd Grand Banquet held July 4 in San Francisco. From $37,000 from our Junior Orders, the Sons of Pericles and Maids of Athena, to $30,000 from the Daughters of Penelope, to nearly $48,000 from AHEPA chapters all across the AHEPA domain, the AHEPA family pulled together for an impressive demonstration of grassroots fundraising for such a worthy initiative. Thank you!

December 2012 – Petition created by Seattle Chapter to gather signatures to submit to Comcast to broadcast Greek channels to their Greek customers in the Puget Sound area.


March 2013 – The March 25th Greek Independence celebration event sponsored by Seattle AHEPA, held on March 23, 2013 at St. Demetrios was considered a great success, filling capacity in attendance  and exceeding expectations.


May 19, 2013 – On Sunday, May 19th, Seattle AHEPA Chapter sponsored the coffee hour following the liturgy at St. Demetrios for AHEPA Day.

May 19, 2013 – On Sunday, May 19th, Dr. George Stamatoyannopoulos was at the Assumption Church, as part of a Career Orientation, to discuss careers in medicine.  Dr. Stamatoyannopoulos is a professor of Medicine and Genome Sciences at the University of Washington.


March 6, 2014 – The "En Chordais" ensamble performance at Benaroya Hall, Thursday, March 6, 2014 sponsored by the Seattle AHEPA Chapter, had a audience of more than 400 plus attendees with warm reviews and making the event a great success.  Thank you for everyone who attended the event including the local Greek community! 


March 22, 2014 – Another great evening for the March 25th Greek Independence celebration  (sponsored by Seattle AHEPA) was held on March 22, 2014 at St. Demetrios.  This year as was the case last year was a successful event, filling capacity in attendance and exceeding expectations.  Making it two years in a row for this revived tradition.
